My husband said this had to be posted. It's wrong....but too funny. This is the night that Ben brought poor Sky to the house. (Our Newest member.) She is in the cat carrier and as you can see Eli is not scared of her, at all. In fact, he finds the beating hilarious. Thank goodness she does not have front claws!!!! And now, they get along just fine.

Hannah's First Mardi Gras Parade

Hannah's first Mardi Gras parade was an event. She wasn't really sure what I was talking about, since she had never been to a parade herself, but she was excited none the less, and caught on to the whole "throw me something mister" really quick! She also realized that the taller you are the better, so I ended up holding her when the floats came by. She is quite heavy...Daddy is definitly attending next parade!!!

Dare Devils

My mother and father always tell stories of the death defying stunts my younger and sister and I performed as a child. I always laugh and smile. But now, I understand first hand. Exhibit A: Hannah decides that her vase and sun flower need more light so she puts one chair up to the dresser, another on top of the dresser and climbs up to about 10 feet in the air. Thank God she came and got me after all was said and done because I do believe I would have had a heart attack on the spot!

Exhibit B: Eli loves to climb, on anything. I have found him on top of tables, chairs, stools, bicycles, and Hannah Bed. He scares the life out of me an average of about five times a day. He just learned to walk.....what will he do when he really learns to work those limbs!!??!!?? Especially with Hannah as an example!

An Explanation of the Title

I thought I'd better explain the title....Hannah's nickname for herself is "Super Girl." Anytime we suggest the idea that she can't do something she fires back with "I'm Super Girl." If I tell her to wear her jacket...."Mommy, I'm Super Girl. Super Girls don't get cold." If I ask her to clean up her room...."Super Girls like their rooms messy." So the title sticks.

And "The Boy," ...well..., Eli is "The Boy." That's what I call him. I don't know why or where it came from, but he is "The Boy." Hannah calls him that, my sister calls him that, and he answers to it thus claiming the title.

So we hope you find as much humor in our adventures as we do......well.....I do after all toes, fingers, and bones are accounted for....and maybe after a few drinks, but I do eventually find them amusing....maybe days later, but eventually.
