Turtle House

The turtle pen is officially in process (and costing a fortune). My sweet husband does nothing half way. There is still a lot of work to be done, but Ben was sent out of town again so it may be a while before he is able to finish it. (Of course I don't think things like this are ever actually finished....they more or less just have pauses of time between improvements!!!) The first night Ben had the borders up Hannah ran across the street and asked Miss Kim for a turtle (whom she wanted to name Super Hannah Turtle, but Ben made her settle for Tuck). The turtle found the pen very interesting, but unfortunately she escaped the next afternoon and is now no where to be found. Hannah immediately wanted to get another one, but I explained that Daddy would have to make some improvements to the walls to ensure there would be no further escapees before we asked Miss Kim and Mr. Eddie for another turtle. We still have Polk Dots though, who is living in her potted plant which has been placed in the turtle pen. She is WAY too tiny to wonder around that huge pen. We'll update new pictures as Ben makes his improvements!
