I didn't feel this was a good lesson to tell a 6 year old who truly dislikes school.
I have a hard enough time getting her to go to school, to behave in school, and to believe how important school is without her having the knowledge that she already knows everything that she needs to know.
I'm thinking it will come back later to bite me in the butt.
Anyway.....the kids sang some really cute songs, with a few little hand gestures and such. Most of the children were simply going through the motions.
Not my child.
You would have thought she was up for an Oscar and this performace.....
Well....this performance was the one that was going to bring the gold home.
She was animated.
She was dramatic.
And she was hilarious.
These pictures just give you a taste of the funny faces, and cooky movements she did.
It was a joy to see her having a such a good time. She was definitely meant for the stage.
After the performance we headed to the class room so the kids could receive their certificates.
Hannah was even dramatic for this. The teacher called her name, she walked toward the front, stopped about five feet from the teacher, bowed, and then continued walking. What can I say?? There are no words.
I wish I could enjoy life as much as she does.
Maybe there's still hope.
